Chilham Village Hall Wedding- Kent

On Saturday 3 August I travelled to Kent for the wedding photography of Louise and Dan in the beautiful village of Chilham.

Kent wedding – Chilham Village wedding – Chilham Village Hall Wedding

London based Louise and Dan fell in love with Chilham Village! Who can blame them as Chilham is a true chocolate box English village nestled in the Kent countryside near Canterbury.

Louise and her six bridesmaids had fun getting ready at the amazing Woolpack Inn and Dan and his groomsmen shaved and showered at The Old Alma Inn.

They tied the knot at St Mary’s Church, Chilham, which features in The Domesday Book, with history as far back as the 7th century AD and then had their reception and wedding breakfast at Chilham Village Hall. Historically the main hall was a 15th century tithe barn.

I loved capturing Louise and her bridesmaids wearing palettes of soft green offset by vibrant yellow sunflower bouquets in the private garden of number 18,  at The Woolpack Inn.

Leon had a blast capturing Dan and the boys having a great time at The White Horse Inn just before the wedding ceremony- literally, a stone’s throw from St Mary’s Church.

So lovely capturing real emotions in the church right through to their reception and all the fun on the tree swing (made by Louise’s brother especially for their wedding).

Louise and Dan placed their emphasis on family and friends and Louise’s love of animals. A couple true to my heart.

I have made a short slide show to give you a preview of some of their magical moments.
