I love capturing natural wedding images the moment they happen without much posing. This way you will have beautiful natural photographs with honest memories of your wedding day that you can cherish forever.
I am passionate about delivering the very best service from our first meeting, photographing your wedding and delivering your images through to aftercare such as ordering albums, prints and wall art.
As a documentary wedding photographer, I don’t cover one or two local venues as a preferred supplier. I like the variety of luxury city weddings, country house weddings, marquee weddings, barn weddings, multi-cultural weddings as well as festival weddings.
Documentary wedding photography doesn’t mean that I won’t be doing your couple portraits and group photos. It’s not often that family, friends, children, work colleagues and acquaintances come together, all at once, except for these magical celebrations- so these photos are important especially for your parents and grandparents.
Documenting your day is also about documenting the detail as a lot of time and effort goes into deciding on the colour scheme, the perfect wedding cake, your outfit and flowers. All forms the backdrop for your perfect day.
I hope my photos will remind you how special your day was, in years to come. The lasting memories of the time spent with those you value is simply priceless and a true investment.
Every wedding is different and I would like your photographs to be an honest memory of your special day. Just the way you imagined it!
If you are interested in booking a documentary wedding photographer
I am a UK wedding photographer capturing weddings throughout Great Britain. Saying that, if you are looking for a destination wedding photographer I would be more than happy to travel to the venue of your dreams.
All my work is captured with professional Sony Mirrorless and Canon Cameras.
I trained as a professional wedding photographer for a year with The Trained Eye Academy based in Amersham. Mike Garrard, Damion Mower, Benjamin Toms and Faye Cornhill were my tutors and mentors. All are amazing photographers and I cannot thank them enough for their advice and expert direction.
I am passionate about engaging with my clients, understanding their needs and capturing their life in a truly unique and individual way. We all see the world differently which is why people fascinate me and why I find weddings in particular, so special and exciting.
When I am not behind the camera, my life is fully occupied with my wonderful children, husband, four dogs, a cat and a bearded dragon.
I love weddings with pets. The more the merrier!!!
I’ve always thought that the test of a really good photographer is somebody who can capture the heart and soul of a subject. If that’s what you are looking for, Nel is the one for you. The photos she took of Anna and I absolutely expressed the essence of our relationship – a sense of our love with a bit of humour on the side!
